Teaching your children healthy dental habits should start early on. In fact, a child should have their first dental appointment at the age of one year old. It’s easy for children to learn and develop their oral hygiene habits as they are young and learning from their parents, so helping your children maintain a healthy mouth is a key preventative measure that will help them when they come to our office. Early pediatric dental care & prevention is the key to healthy teeth for you child through out their life. Daily brushing and flossing are key to prevent cavities and other dental problems between cleanings. These cleanings should happen every 6 months.
