Preventative Care
Beginning at the age of one, a child’s first dental appointment should be made. This will help to establish a routine of regular dental appointments and check-ups. This also serves as a means to help create a prevention program to ensure that your child’s teeth stay healthy for many years to come. Early pediatric dental care & prevention is the key to healthy teeth for many years to come.
Restorative Care
We provide in-office pediatric restorative treatment for your children’s teeth – with options of nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and I.V. sedation with an anesthesiologist available. We have the equipment, facilities and experience necessary to restore and correct many pediatric dental needs.
Hospital Care
Dr. Schweppe is able to provide hospital care or I.V. sedation in-office with anesthesia provided by a licensed anesthesiologist or anesthetist. This can be provided for children with extensive restorative treatment or the treatment of children that are unable to tolerate traditional in-office dental care methods. He is a staff member at the following hospitals: Primary Children’s Medical Center, Mt. Ogden Surgical Center, McKay-Dee Hospital, Logan Regional Hospital, and Cache Valley Specialty Hospital.
Emergency Care
We understand that dental pain can be extremely uncomfortable, and we will always provide treatment for pain and emergencies as soon as possible. After-hours messages may be left on the office phone numbers (Ogden: 801-479-9220, Logan: 435-752-0775) and we will return your call as soon as we are back in the office. For trauma or infection that need immediate treatment, Dr. Schweppe may be reached at his home at (801) 782-4415.
